Who is Loue?
Loue embraces softness and quality through knitwear. Each piece is made by hand, allowing for a slower and more considered process. Rather than following seasons, Loue focuses on creating knitwear that feels lasting, in both design and use. Quality is approached as a standard, expressed through careful construction, tactile materials, and attention to detail.
As a growing brand, Loue continues to evolve with a conscious perspective. Through responsible material choices and a commitment to craftsmanship, we aim to create pieces that hold their value over time and encourage a more thoughtful way of wearing.
The Craft of Knitting
Loue began as a personal project by Yente Friederichs. In 2025, she discovered knitting and became drawn to both the process and the possibility of creating garments she couldn’t find elsewhere. Pieces with the right balance of softness and shape.
In 2026, this became Loue. Alongside her full-time work and creative studies, she spent her evenings refining the design of a slipover. Reworked over time, adjusted in fit and proportion, until the balance felt right. That piece became the starting point. From there, Loue grew into a knitwear label defined by clean silhouettes and tactile materials, grounded in a deep appreciation for the craft of knitting.
